Bog Oak Energy
My Bog Oak Energy sculptures further my exploration as to how we are connected to all living things and how we are surrounded with energy. These ancient pieces of wood emerge slowly from the sub soils. The energy is also ancient and the colours are closely related to the chakra energy centres in our bodies. I am fascinated by the energy that we attract, a bit like a magnet, only we are using either our positive or negative state of mind.

Thought Pattern Paintings
Thought Pattern Paintings are ideas I've had in various guises since I was 8 years old. My paintings reflect how I believe our thought patterns work and how they are connected to each other. I believe it is advantageous to maintain a positive viewpoint for positive outcomes and to expand thought in this direction for your overall wellbeing. I am working using primary and secondary colours as these are the basic colours in our spectrum and are the foundation for all colours as we see them. As well as my own exploration I am working with two groups of disadvantaged/disabled people at the moment sharing the theory of my idea with them and exploring their findings.

Grizedale Forest
I visited Grizedale Forest in Cumbria with a view to a residency to put a piece in for the spring which will mean working through the winter.
Very exciting especially as the roads had only just been opened before I arrived due to the snow that had fallen.
The whole place looked like a scene from Narnia.
I couldn't visit the vast 6 acres in a landrover because most of the forest was impassable.
It is more exciting walking through the silent forest.
I was so inspired by the beauty of the forest, especially the ancient forest. I am working with Grizedale forest to see if we can make this happen!
